Linux Editor Updated

An update to the Linux build of the Leadwerks editor has been posted. This resolves a few UI issues:

  • The way the scene browser tree renders is changed to eliminate visual artifacts.
  • Some scroll bar behavior bugs are fixed.
  • The popup menu that appears when you right-click on an entity in the scene browser now contains an "Add to flow graph" menu item.
  • This odd UI bug is fixed.
  • Double-clicking on items in the scene or asset browser trees will collapse/expand that item if it has children! This was driving me crazy.

You can run the Leadwerks updater to get the update.

Are there any problems on Ubuntu 12.04?

Guess I'll have to dual boot between linux again... will 14.04 be the official standard when it's released in 5 days or willl I still need to double check everything in 12.04?

No problems in Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit so far... All is well in OZ...

Like my other comment at the forum...

Updater worked correctly.

Then when I started to run a map, Leadwerks said I needed to update my map which was done through the Project Manager... I just updated "MyGame" and two files were updated.

The project manager does not update your map files.

It does only update scripts, shaders etc. That come from the leadwerks project template.

Your map however you will most likely have changed, so the map needs to be converted to the new version.
