My submission for the Leadwerks Summer Games 2026 Event is a small demo from my current project Shadow and Sword.
At the moment, the village and the temple are fully finished. The bamboo forest and the spider demoness are still under development, but already present in the scene so you can get a first look at how the world will continue to grow.
Most of the models are created by myself. During my yearly trips to Korea, I take a lot of reference photos and try to recreate them as 3D models or use them for textures in the game, to bring a more authentic atmosphere into the world.
The music is provided by Phat Phrog Studio.
Over time, I will likely replace many of the current models, as more areas get completed and I have more time to improve overall quality. Especially the character models are already largely finished, and I mainly need to focus on animation work going forward.
also i think about 3rd person instead of 1st person. but at the moment i don´t know.
Controls
- W / A / S / D – Move
- Mouse – Camera control
- E – Interaction (press once when available)
- 5 – Bomb
- 6 – Bucket
- I – Inventory
- Right Mouse Button – Block
The game is still in development, and I’m always open to feedback, as it helps me improve the project step by step. My hope is that everyone enjoys the demo and gets a small glimpse of the world I’m building.
Performance on my RTX 3060 is around 160 FPS, depending on screen resolution.
I have tested the published version thoroughly myself, and everything should work properly. If any bugs still appear, I will fix them as quickly as possible and release an update.

There is still a lot of work ahead, but I’m happy with how far I’ve come so far as a one-man hobby project.
I’ll be posting new developments, changes, and improvements there as the project continues to evolve. (Feedback is welcome)
