Lone Water Prologue (2017 - Greenlight version)

I noticed that LW wasn’t available to download here, so I’m submitting the latest version here, the same version that was used in the now defunct Steam Greenlight.

It was made using Leadwerks 4. Nowadays, thanks to GPU vendors and their spotty drivers, there’s a minor shader issue. It’s not game breaking, but you will notice it.

Thank you for playing! Now, with the past behind me, I’ll focus on my new games, which will be developed using the newest version of Leadwerks.

About the Game

Lone Water tells the story of a world flooded by water.

You are a lone survivor in this world, and you must find clues to figure out why the world was flooded.

This game combines loneliness, sadness, and dread with a peaceful environment. It is your job to determine whether humanity has finally destroyed itself.

For now, only the prologue is available. We already have plans for a full release if you guys like the game. Your feedback will help shape the next chapters of the story.

Story

The world was in a chaotic state. Humanity was about to pay the price for its lack of care and preservation of what is most precious to human life: water.

The only solution was to use everything science could offer.

A massive scientific corporation had a solution to the problem. Through a complex chemical process, they gradually managed to make water available to people again.

Unfortunately, not everyone was happy, and someone inside this massive scientific corporation planned to cause a true ecological apocalypse.

Unfortunately, it was too late.

The world is now completely flooded, and it is our fault.

Only memories of the past remain to tell the true story of the events that followed.
