Getting back up to speed with a Dell G7. Since the new engine usually makes 99% usage of the GPU processing power, I saved a lot of money and just got a midrange graphics card.

You probably paid the same as a 3080 at it's MSRP price for something way less powerful. GPU prices are terrible atm. 😞

Nope, I the whole thing was about $1200. Bitcoin price must be affecting GPUs.
I think it's a mixture of supply shortages, scalppers, and bitcoin effecting GPU prices. It seems OEM/Pre-builds aren't effected.
