  3. Okay, Leadwerks Software is going to be doing some B2B virtual reality stuff soon. I will post an announcement when the details are finalized.

  12. Intel problem: when I bind 3D textures on units 16-21 everything on the -X axis is black. Works fine when bound to units 0-5.

    However, I still prefer Variance Shadow Maps since they eliminate shadow acne and look better.

      Posters are easy to ship. Shirts, etc. are a pain to deal with.

      And shipping Turbo?  😛  But yeah, that sounded like a serious undertaking and I think your community appreciated all the work you did for them.

      Just couldn't find any inspiration this time around. Everything I could think of just sounded like a ton of work. The last year I've been in a mode where I'd rather modify something than start from scratch.

      I honestly give not much on words, I wanna see results :), but I wish you the best Turbo becomes what you are talking about. I am actually interested in the story behind Leadwerks, what your intention is and how it came you started developing Leadwerks. I was wondering because you can't find much information about this here. As far as I understood you generally made this engine on your own? If so you could use this to your advantage and give it a personal touch, which people will love. But thats just my opinion I am sure you know what you are doing. Wish you just the best!

      I agree with Phodex Games, it's the freedom and simplicity which made me choose it over the others.  I'll keep backing Leadwerks and Turbo for sure.  Keep it up!

      64 bit precision is something like 2000 billion billions larger worlds, as close to infinite as you get :)

      @ScarPunk correct! But unlike C# the code still runs just as fast.

      Smart pointers are cool the only time they'd be bad is if you intended to keep an object around for longer than you normally would due to it maybe having a very expensive destructors, etc... but in these cases you just simply don't use smart pointers.

      That's why JVM's GC is so cool, it can defer deletions or partial deletions depending on the situation to maintain high FPS. No substitute for good C++ code though.
