  4. I experimented with a Diablo style health orb using animated textures I created and round and square alpha masks making use of a custom buffer. Mack did a very nice version using shaders and 3D spheres. The Up and Down arrow keys moves the level of the "fluid".

I have never seen the point of batch conversion with regard to models in LE, as models come in all different scalings (even in some packs!), and as LE has no in editor scaling functionality they would all need adjustment before or after conversion to what ever scale you wanted to use to allow correct physics .phy files to be generated. As for only being able to evaluate LE with 2000+ models in the 30 day eval .. well .. I find that hard to believe.

  14. I use predominantly Blitzmax and Lua but also c++ and Lua, I don't recall having any major issues relating to LE2.x's Lua IDE/debugger or with how Bmax and c++ interact with lua in LE.

  17. There are some TGC models/packs that even fragmotion will struggle with.
  18. Some of the TGC models packs can be problematic with direct import into UU3D, you may have to try other routes like Fragmotion to UU3D or try the Mender app, or even write a small converter to dbo format in DBpro, before getting some .x format models from TGC into UU3D.

  20. If its a stability issue then move the center of gravity thats the only setting I changed in the script for the Monster Truck with regard to the trucks setup.
