Congrats dude! As someone who also works from home, having a dedicated place to get work done that is as far removed from home life as possible is a God send. It was a huge boon to my productivity, at least while I had it.
Currently working on cleaning out and renovating a storage room in my garage, turning it into a dedicated office. It's a fun home improvement project.
Are you the only one there, or do you have the guys working on the iOS and Android ports there with you as well?

While QT can be made to do that, it doesn't do so by default and for good reason. GUI code does not need to draw very quickly. Draw too quickly and you're wasting system resources.

It actually isn't using the native widgets to the OS. It uses a theme engine to give the appearance of native widgets.

My Fiancee just got an Android, and I will be happily upgrading my phone in under two months. I'm just glad the firmware is "mostly upgradable" for those that don't have Android v2.2. iOS seems like more of a pain to upgrade... because you need a whole new phone / contract.
That isn't quite true actually. The firmware can be upgraded on iOS devices via iTunes.

No, it's largely because most of the people developing iOS games are one man "teams". They are mostly programmer art. A good example of what the device is capable of would be the Infinity Blade demo made by Epic Games. That runs amazingly well on the hardware with great visuals, shaders and a high polycount. It's running via the UDK which is significantly more bloated than LE3 will be. I'm expecting good things here.

@Josh, I've got a better idea. Kick back for a moment, just a moment, and enjoy the fact you have your own office now. Wonderful feeling isn't it?
