  2. Is anyone else experience slow downloads from here lately?  Namely the beta's and benchmarks. I get up to 4mb/sec through Steam and other sites but here it barely reaches 100kb/sec.

      Didnt experience such problems, could be something about your ISP i suppose amazon serves data with servers close to your location for speed.

      I'm starting to think it's my router setup then.  I have a router in the main house then another hooked up in the granny flat via Ethernet (which I'm using).  Sometimes the browses refuse to load web-pages unless I restart them.

  6. I've been asked by my animator if Leadwerks supports IK bones?  I'm under the impression if you setup IK in blender to animate with, the bones are exported with their transformations saved in the file.  Is this correct?

      I used the tongue smiley because you have to build it into your game ahead of time and I assume you haven't yet so it's not useful to you right now.  But as soon as you do, you can get very very useful information: how many people collect how many whatevers, how far people get, how long does it take to beat each boss and how many tries it takes people, etc. etc.

      Yeah I haven't yet.  I'll consider it for the next build.  The info will be very useful.

  9. It took about 3 hours to upload a 500mb file to the Games page.  That's about 50kb a sec upload and I have 500kb a sec (at least).  Has anyone else experienced slow uploading of games?

  10. Is there a way to force a published exe to show the command prompt window?  It's crashing and it'd be handy to see...

      Ah true, my system is GTX 980Ti and thinking 60 FPS.  I thought I saw something once where it was claimed 33 million triangles... but not sure.

      There is no fixed limit. I would aim for a max of about 2 million polys rendered.

  12. I've just noticed that if you parent a cube to a pivot, the cubes shadow disappears... is this supposed to happen?

      Yes, actually, because the parent pivot's shadow mode is 0.

  13. Been setting up my project to use smart pointers.  Really looking forward to Leadwerks 5!

  14. Is it just me or does AddForce() now need higher values?  Used to get good acceleration with -9.8 along the Y, but now need -98.0 :mellow:

      It hadn't changed, but increasing it by 10 times worked just as good.  Maybe I accidentally changed it before <_<

  15. Do a lot of surfaces in a model slow down rendering?

      If it's C++ you can call Surface:Clear() to remove all vertices and polygons.

      The files are automatically copied for you. (If the project update didn't mess with files, what would it do?)

  19. Trying to upgrade from indie to standard but not seeing and option for that. Anyone done this?

      On Steam there's a DLC, on Leadwerks.com you go to the client panel, see the product order, and then there is an upgrade button...somewheres like that.

      Found it on steam thanks. On the site however there is no upgrade button... all it shows is Leadwerks 3 and Leadwerks 3.1 upgrade pre-order as purchased.

  20. How does one get the terrain height at a point in lua with indi edition 3.1? :/

      But not available for lua.
