  1. I already fell in love with ULTRA APP KIT. 😍

  2. Hello. I had the same problem when working on Twisted Minds demo. I figured out the problem came out from the material used on the vegetation model. Make sure to use shaders from Shaders\Vegetation for Vegetation and Veg Shadow shaders. Also use a shadow shader (shadow+alphamask.shader is the exemple from the doc.) You can find some documentation here https://www.leadwerks.com/learn?page=Tutorials_Editor_Terrain#section10.1 about vegetation material. Hope it helps.
  3. That is an interesting list of ressources. Thank you very much for sharing
  4. Hello everyone, for this first entry, let's talk about how I made fire particles in Twisted Minds. I wanted to create a fire particle made with a sprite sheet to decreased the number of particles I needed. Episode 3 will have a lot of fire involved. I didn't want to use the example from the manual, which needs too many particles. As a comparison, I decreased the number of particles I needed from 10 to only 5. I know, not a big deal, but it's still optimization, and the fire looks more real, even though we are far from reality. After days of searching on the internet how to make sprite s
  5. Hello everyone. First of all, let me begin this blog by some explanations about Twisted Minds, this blog, me, etc. About me I've been creating some simple little games for a while now. Never publishing them, just showing them off to my friends and family. It has always been a dream of mine to create my video game studio and create video games for a living. Those little game, simple as they were, always makes me continue forward into video game development and computer development in general. I've grown with computers, video games, and books. I've always been a dreamer, creating s
  6. Hello again, hope you are all doing good. So, second post for tonight. I've chosen to install Ubuntu on my main computer as a dual boot as I need to use Linux for school and because I like Linux. I've chosen dual boot because I still want Windows to be running as my main OS for compatibility and ease of use. Today I've finally took the time to install the latest of ubuntu on my computer and I wanted to try Leadwerk on Linux as I was curious. I wanted to open a .werk project but met an error when trying to import it inside the project manager. The project was created on Windows and w
  7. Hello, hope you are all doing ok. So, I don't really know if it's the right place to post this but I think I've just encountered a bug on the website. My brother wanted to try the Demo for Twisted Minds and he just received a file with the name TwistedMindsDemo_zip.DA3C5A6A3FD2D71136F973E729354A5F. We've been looking for a cause, I've recompiled the game, re-zipped the game, nothing helped. Well, I couldn't upload the game (105Mb), the server always returned an error message. To test if it was from my end or from Leadwerk's server end, I've tried download other games, and same resul
  8. Thank you very muc for your help. I will try this when I get home, thank you. ?
  9. Me too, thank you very much ?
  10. Hello. So, it's been around three to four days now I've been trying to publish my game as a standalone including only used file. I know it's a pretty basic function but the game is just a little demo. I already publish it here without include only used files, which made the game bigger in size. I manually deleted unwanted files that won't be useful to the game but I really don't want to always manually delete useless files and I'm sure it's not efficient. A lot of files aren't used but are still include. The problem is, whenever I publish a standalone game only including use f

  13. Thanks, I didn't quite understand how to use GetProperty and SetProperty. You idea sounds good the problem is how to detect if the player is pressing mouse1, shift, etc... I had a first idea with a simple InputText accepting 1 char. This OLD method helped with alphanumeric but not with special key like shift, ctrl or with mouse input. And that's my main problem right now (alongside listening for mouse / keyboard input.) Anyway, I will keep looking on forums and doing some experiment on my code. For the time being, I will go to bed. Good night and thank you again.
  14. Hello. I'm working on a demo for my upcoming game, and while I was working on it, I wanted to add the ability to bind keys in the options menu. I've already made the GUI code (in Lua) to make a second tab, add buttons for every movement, etc... The problem is I can't figure how to listen for keyboard/mouse input. As you can see, I've chosen buttons and not TextInput. When you click a button, a panel opens with a text. This panel will only close when the user will press a button or hit escape. And this is where I'm stuck. How can I listen for any keyboard or mouse input?
