Using the Netwerks library, is it possible to send a broadcast packet to other machines on a LAN?
In many games I have seen in the past, a LAN game server will send out broadcast packets using IP 255.255.255.255. These are then received by the potential peers who then can see the server's game hosted on their LAN. I saw that you could publish and retrieve a game listing online but is it also possible to implement LAN play effectively?
