  1. After 7 years of using the same root password on my PC, I managed to forget it. Really having fun right now..

      I've been using this method http://xkcd.com/936/ as soon as systems went beyond 8 char passwords (I'm that kind of old....) favourite lyrics, passages from books or movie quotes.

      personally I use math equations alternating between using numbers/operands and spelling them out like;

      I use keepass on pc, notebook and phone, sync them using btsync. If i need to enter a password somewhere else i use inputstick. And if everything fails i can still enter the password from my phone.
