I asked similar question a long time ago but never implemented the replies I got.
I need to reference the y coord of my character so that it can die if it falls off the top of a high building. maybe over 30 ft high. How would this code look?

cisual studio complains about the following line but if I remove Leadweks:: it works fine. The line is from the camera create example.Anyone know why?

I am looking to buy a new pc and need to know which graphics card to go for. I always use GeForce as their drivers update often. The options with my budget are gtx1050,gtx1050 ti or 1060. Also how much graphics memory is suitable. Opinions welcome.

You can make smoke in the editor using particles. I made smoke and fire by just playing around with property values. It came right in the end.

Hi.
When I press the w key to move my character the objects in the scene show a slight flicker which stops when I release the w key. Anyone know a solution to this problem?

This happened to me some time ago. It worked ok after rebooting. Or you could reinstall from steam.

.M know of a uk based engine that charges £40 for the engune and this includes free updates for one year.from date of purchase. They also have a free version with no updates. With the commercial version of course updating is optional.maybe something along these lines might work ok.

Why not just batch generate mat files and normal maps in the editor?

If it ran before it should run now. Have you tried reinstalling from steam? Are graphics drivers up to date.

No. Had to start new project and switch files. No problem though it took ten minutes. Working now.But there must be a way.

I was running my game from inside visual studio when my pc suddenly rebooted. afterwards I found that my exe file had vanished.I ran it in release mode. Now vs says it can't find the exe file when I try to build it . Is there any way I can get it to build another exe.
I have a copy but it will not let me copy and paste it. Something about administration rights.

When I double click on textures in asset browser the properties dialog comes up. No problem here.What format do you use?

When I set fog mode to true in editor the effect does not show up in game.. Is this intended? Using c++. Do I have to code it?

No. My son arrived and used an on demand virus checker which found nothing. He knows more than I do about this subject and thinks there is nothing to worry about.
Edit: The on demand virus checker is called Housecall.

My game has been running ok in visual studio but now I get a runtime error " can't find symbol file"
Anyone know what that means? There are no syntax errors.
