  1. Ah, and there was me taking all the time in the world to get a pack together as the store wasn't even open yet...

I like your new avatar, cute dog.
  3. It's great to see so many Leadwerks users making and releasing their own tools as of recently

    Day 1

I think I know the answer to this question, but any ideas on pricing yet?
  5. If you own the engine, first do this http://leadwerks.com/werkspace/index.php?/topic/127-if-you-need-access-to-the-forum/ Then download this http://leadwerks.com/werkspace/index.php?/files/file/107-sdk-installer-and-updater/ and use the key you received by email when you purchased the engine. If you somehow lost your key, then email support with your details, so they can confirm you previously purchased the engine and resend you your key.
  6. This is an amazing project, and look forward to reading and seeing more.
  7. This is perfect, and as Marleys Ghost said it's the best material editor yet. Very much appreciated.
  8. This thread is a pile of junk.
  9. Can't imagine Kynapse would be affordable, so that's not a bad thing.
  10. This was true the first time, but after I changed it for a second time, the number become 0.304800004, not quite sure why an extra 0.000000004 is added on, but it's much better than being knocked down to 0.3.
  11. Actually this was perfect, it worked better than you was expecting. I could set the grid size to 0.3048 and Major Grid lines to 3.048, and appears to be working great. I had forgotten about the ini file. Personally I don't use them, always seems quicker to just type it in. Unless I only wish the change the value by 0.01 of course, but this is rare.
  12. For my project (http://leadwerks.com/werkspace/index.php?/blog/12/entry-449-the-world-trade-center-project/) I'm having to work in Feet and Inches for accuracy, which of course produces some odd numbers for the placement of these meshes. At the moment the editor only supports 2 decimal places for all text fields including the position coordinates, while the scene files themselves appear to support 10 figures, which is more than enough. It's very important for me to be able to set my grid size to 1 foot, which is 0.3048 meters. As with grid snapping enabled this would allow me to drop most my assets in and fit them together perfectly. I also need to be able to change the coordinates of many meshes to figures with more than 2 decimal places. This would be a massive time saver. The only workaround for the time being is for me to open the scene files in notepad, then proceed to find the correct meshes and enter in the correct coordinates. However this is quickly becoming unworkable with large scenes with many instanced meshes. It's becoming very hard to judge which meshes are which and is wasting hours of my time that I could be spending on making assets. Not only would being able to use more decimal places in the editor to allow me to set grid snapping to 1 foot and mean I wouldn't have to type coordinates in for every mesh, but it would also make it much much easier for me to enter coordinates when it was needed. I wouldn't normally write so much for such a simple feature request, but I felt it was needed in order to convey how important this was for me. Can you give me any hope for this being changed any time soon?
  13. Why not use the maximum size (4096x4096) and scale down later if and when you need to? Plus you can always change the texture resolution that LE will load from the mipmaps using the texture quality setting.
  14. I really think it should have been an add-on that could have been incorporated into the Leadwerks editor. I'd really like to use this for my project, and I think it would really suite it. However as it stands, I don't even feel like the added graphical quality is worth the extra time and effort of even using their tools, let alone paying $350 for it. It just feels like minimum effort was put into this, and they've gone down the route of changing things just enough so it becomes possible to use it with Leadwerks, but not actually worried about it being easy and convenient to do so.

    this is great
  16. Ensure you're running it in admin mode. I've had this issue before with demo software. No idea if that's your problem, but just in case.
  17. Not that I'm really complaining, we don't even have to pay it. I hope it makes the engine more profitable, I just fear it wont. I think $200 would have been my cut off point.
  18. I totally agree, I wasn't trying to defend how it's been promoted. I'm also unsure as to why the engine price has gone up by $50 in time with the release of 2.4. It seems new customers are now paying $50 for the pleasure of being able to spend an additional $500 on third party lighting product.
