  1. Hey Leadwerkers! Am I the only one who experiences sudden crashes without error message twice every 5 minutes? This keeps happening whenever I work in "lit" mode or when I edit meshes/materials. I keep saving religiously but its still frustrating to restart the program every few minutes because it inexplicably hangs itself. -Wolf
  2. As the title says searching for any string in the asset browser that includes a \ will crash to desktop. How to reproduce: type / in the search box and hit enter.
  3. When using the glass material, I assume Leadwerks continues to cull the objects behind the object. This leads to views where most of your level is simply missing. This does not happen in the editor. I have a map uploaded to demonstrate the bug. When you load the map in the editor you will see there are 3 colored boxes at the end of a path. When you start the map BEFORE you start to move, you will only see the blue box. Walk backwards and all the boxes appear. Walk back up to the glass. Strafe left or right. As you get to the edge of the glass the box in that direction appears. You can also make it happen by standing close to the glass and looking left or right. Also is there way in lua to simply disable culling totally in the game? I have other issues with the way Leadwerks culls objects. If not, can I designate an object as something that should not be put in the culling list? trasnparency_bug.zip
  4. I've only tested using the largest terrain size. Water covers most but not all of the map. Just make a new project using terrain size 4096 and turn on water.
  5. I found 3 texturing bugs. Two of them may be related as they deal with how textures are handled once an object is rotated. These all deal with CSG's 1. When copying and pasting prefabs it reverts to the original prefabs original texture 2. Texture lock doesn't work when rotating in perspective view when an object has children. If you start rotating an object while in in perspective view that has objects attached to it, the texture lock only works for the root object. BUT, if you then continue to rotate the object using the top,bottom,etc... views, the texture lock will work. 3. Unpredictable Behavior when manually typing rotations. Manually type in the rotation value and pray your uv still exists.   6. As the title says, If you make a csg prefab and re-texture it using the drag and drop method it will appear correct in the editor. (NOTE: The warning about changing from and insanced prefab DOES NOT appear). If you change the texture through the appearance tab it will change the texture ingame and show the insance warning dialog
  7. Error tends to occur when loading "terraintool.shader." Specs are as follow: AMD FX-8350 XFX R9 280x 8gb of Kingston HyperX @ 1600Mhz (And that's all that's important.) This error started happening when I bought my 280x. The engine ran fine on my 660 ti. My friend with a 280x also has this exact same error. Any ideas? Am I simply missing an install, or need a re-install due to a GPU change?
  8. So I've been trying to use this software but I've been encountering this very frustrating bug that I can't figure out. Admittedly, my experience with scripting and game editing is very limited so it is likely I've just missed something. I tried to attach a video of the bug, but the forum won't let me. I'll post it on youtube instead and leave a link. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  9. today i waste hours to find a nasty bug^^ i want use my call output "Open" with a other prefab door but it not work anymore. i just want switch light on if door opens but nothing happens. it seems the flowgraph have a problem with same names and did not find the correct object. all objects in scene tree view must have a unique id but i can not see what they internal have. i rename a object under general name and my call output work. arrrgggg. this prefab have all the same name and internal maybe the same id. (after rename it is not a prefab anymore.) please fix it
  10. i try this new feature. i using latest beta. and please make a better error handling, using temporary objects, at error show a message "please inform developer + infos" and nothing happens after click ok. or just closing the model editor after own error message box. i try this feature because need of more performance. ... can not upload the polyshape .phy file here, think u not need.
  11. Hello Everyone! I recently purchased the Indie Edition of Leadwerks off of Steam, and have been enjoying it. I noticed that I can't orbit / look around in the perspective editor, unlike the documentation says. Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks. Edit: I also forgot to mention that when I try to use "Debug" mode, I only get the script editor window, and no game appears. Anyone else?

I also have a Intel® HD 4000 graphic card and 2.2 - 3.2 ghz , but i open the software and it results in the common "Failed To Configure Graphics" But I downloaded the Intel driver and I get an error Message saying 'the driver being installed is not validated for this computer, please obtain the appropriate driver from the manufacture" I have a i7 core and I m using my acer aspire V3-571-9646, I used to have a desktop but It died GG this is my first laptop, so im not very well informed on the drivers ,thanks for reading
  13. I thought you should know that the last update rendered the default fpsplayer code unable to look up or down. I have my own fps code I use, but thought I should tell you. Thank you.
  14. So after making my model and revision it 2 times I cant figure out why when I import it and place a fps camera in it. When the game starts the forward position is off and the camera shows above the player model. I do want the camera in third person but I want to be able to have it not controlling it backwards.   15. Hello guys. The bug we are experiencing here is when our packaged game for testing is installed on any Windows 8 computer (haven't tried 8.1 yet) it crashes on launch with "missing Openal32.dll" error. The steps we took to make the game was simple (not sure if I need to include our game installer). Update our project (on Windows 7 computer) and publish. Email the installer file to the tester through onedrive, download and install (Windows 8). We also installed the game on our own computers and sent them the installed files as a zip file. When launching from the zip file or extracted files it still contains the same error. We have tried both methods on multiple Windows 8 computers, and the same issue arises every time. We have had no issues with Windows 7 or vista with the game at all.
  16. Hi all Just wondering if anyone is having the same issue I'm having.... I'm using the steam version with C++ on Win 7. If I leave the editor open overnight, wake my computer. If the editor is open and in focus it will display properly. if I click anywhere on the window it crashes. I have tried x 2 projects (My main one C++ which has loads of content and a secondary one Lua which is pretty bare bones) the crash it happens to them both. Is there any one else experiencing this? Can someone else leave the editor on with a world loaded overnight and to see what happens? In my level It has terrain, some bsb, the fps script and a few textures. Cheers!
  17. This is using today's update. In the editor for example, the scripts folder you can see all the scripts and shaders of all the child folders instead of just the files in the current folder. I'm at work so I can't take screenshots.
  18. I just found that if you rotate a box csg, the shadow continues to use a backface culled version instead of updating it.
