  1. I'm trying to make a simple first person shooter and I'm very new to leadwerks so bare with me here. Every time I try and test run the game, the monsters run at me backwards, and I don't know why, I've tried my best to fix it, but now I'm stuck. I have them all enabled & have a working control panel, they're set to Bad, I have a Nav mesh so they can move & they're all facing my direction but they still prefer to walk backwards.
  2. Hello everyone, I'm having a major issue. I can't look around or move in my game scene. I can click on objects and move them around, as well at middle mouse moving and scrolling forward and backwards, but I just cant look around or move. Please help!
  3. I was wondering if anyone is able to help me. So I have had an issue for months now with Enemies crashing my game. Regardless of the models/animations I use. Regardless of the scripts or code I use (I have tried the Default, The HUD elements ai script and about 4 variations I have made myself). Simply having enemies in my project causes crashes. I have tried running my game without enemies and it runs perfectly. But even if I set them to run away instead of attacking, simply having enemy characters causes the game to crash.   5. when i try to open a new project this error appears i tried to uninstall and install 2 times stil same problem (i was having black screen problem before that when i uninstall and install this error come up) Help pls (i dont use cyrilic alphabet my computer is us english) (it says lots of error when i try to create a file but is still creates and when i try to open that file i cant see anything expect darkness)
  6. The problem is that I can't create a new game. I think that when I installed Leadwerks it didn't create a folder in the documents directory.
  7. Every time I try start Leadwerks it opens fine. I can mess with my projects and drag stuff around, create shapes, etc. But, whenever I try to do ANYTHING with the sidebar, such as changing texture or importing a model, it crashes instantly with "Bank Resize Error." I've already googled this and tried every solution I found, which included restarting your PC and uninstalling/reinstalling the game, to no avail.

I made a simple gun in blender and animated it to reload and fire, and when i import the .fbx into leadwerks, it shows the full gun moving, and the magazine only moving, in two different animations. I want the gun to move into place, then the magazine to drop and go back in. It shows it like this in blender, any ideas?

  10. I'm creating a horror game and am having trouble with doors. The main location is a house with swinging doors in it, and no matter what I do to the scene details, I keep walking right through the doors. I've tried every modification I can, and for some reason I can't fix it! I don't know if I'm just overlooking a simple mistake or if I made a mistake that I really don't know the solution to.   11. First post here in a couple years... Unfortunately, not a good thing. I have an interest in Leadwerks again, but unfortunately, I no longer have access to the Steam account I purchased it with, or the email tied to that account. I've tried contacting Steam support and they have given me no response. So I'm asking you guys for help. Is there anything I can do about this? I've lost a $200 value (I had the Professional Edition DLC), and I really want to use Leadwerks for my next project. Anybody have any suggestions or ways to help?   12. Hi, I'm new to Leadwerks and I've been looking at some tutorial videos. All of them say to go to prefabs to select and place an FPS player, but the only thing in my prefabs is a folder labeled "Projectiles." Is there any other way to get a player or create a new one?

  18. So I'm just getting started kinda figuring out the basics of Leadwerks, and I seem to be having trouble getting my 'run' window to work properly. I've placed a simple platform down, a directional light, and a player character prefab on it when I hit 'run' the window pops up, but I am unable to look around or seemingly move. However, when I jump I can see the lighting moving as if I'm jumping and when I attempt to walk around I can hear footstep sound effects which suddenly end when I assume the character falls of the platform, but during all this my view is basically frozen in place.   19. I am trying to make it so when you press space it advances to the next map, but am having a little trouble. I have it embedded in the Player (for the ball game template).   20. Hello people. I am working on a new Marble Run like game (Because I may or may not have deleted my first one...). I have a few quick questions though 1. How do you add a start menu with a way to start a new game, and a way to choose different worlds.   22. So I have been working on a game based around throwing ragdolls called Castle Defender. The concept is pretty much the same as Defend Your Castle ( http://www.xgenstudios.com/play/castle ) except for that it takes place in 3D. My issue is that I want to have many more active enemies but I can only have a few enemies active before the fps drops to low.   23. Help! My game won't launch. Whenever I launch it, a pop-up window appears and says "Failed to initialize sound device. Is OpenAL installed?" I've narrowed it down to two things. 1, OpenAL is installed and won't load the game, or B, OpenAL isn't installed. if option A, what do I do, and if option 2, what do I do BACKGROUND: I've been able to use this before (like a lot... more than I feel is good for me...).   25. If I move a director into the modes folder while LE is active it will not refresh and show the new directory or files until I restart the software. Is there a way to do this without saving and restarting?
