Building Leadwerks on Ubuntu

Recommended Posts

This thread is for my own reference.

 

1. Install Ubuntu 12.04

2. Install Nvidia proprietary driver

3. Run update manager

4. Install Code::Blocks IDE with GCC compiler checked

5. Install Steam

6. Install Leadwerks Game Engine on Steam

7. Install OpenJDK Java Runtime

8. Install SmartSVN

9. Run “BlitzMax_Install.sh”

10. Copy x86 and x64 libsteam_api.so files to /lib32 and /lib

My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.

It looks like you also have to select Settings > Compiler and Debugger in Code::Blocks and check "Have g++ follow the coming C++0x ISO C++ language standard" (or something like that).
