yurembo Posted August 5 Posted August 5 Is it a normal way to use a tags table to save parameters of an object, for example: lifes, coins? For what targets it table is use? Quote https://www.t2d-dev.ru/ https://yurembo.com/
Josh Posted August 5 Posted August 5 You can, but it's probably better to store properties in an entity script. Quote Let's build cool stuff and have fun.
yurembo Posted August 6 Author Posted August 6 There is a problem. For example: when I select an object, pickinfo.entity returns entity without new properties which I added to the script. I see a tags table is uncomfortable to use. A userdata table is better way. I'm rewriting my game to use this. I want to do it until a weekend because my game is not working well. Josh Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Honestly, the tags are just something people were asking for a long time ago. I never use them. Quote Let's build cool stuff and have fun.
