Well actually if any of us would distribute some game they would have just published with no encryption to make some exec and encrypted ressources files, what LE3 don't have in fact :

We give to players LE3 engine dev kit no ?

If the game is made in Lua , they simply have access to Lua and mkae their own App.lua and own Lua scripts, as publishing shows all :

-ressources

-Lua files

Indeed tehy won't be able to modify the map file or models shaders/textures or import new models.

So it is normal ?

It is simply for be able to "MOD" a game like changing Lua scripts for example ?

Stop toying and make games

I wouldn't worry about it quite yet. Some additional encryption is planned to be added later on, so it is likely to be done before any major titles are released.

You are free to release games right now without a problem.

My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
