The volumetric effect value can be used to add a volumetric effect to lights, simulating light bouncing off of mist in the air.

Returns the light's volumetric effect level.
Volumetric effects are relatively expensive to render, and will be skipped when lighting quality is set to low. If the effect strength is zero (the default) the effect will not be used. If the strength is greater than zero, the rendering cost will be the same regardless of how high the value is set.
