Boolean Operations

Leadwerks supports boolean operations on primitives. The carve tool lets you cut pieces away from an object. The hollow tool will make any primitive hollow.

Carve

The use the carve tool, simply position one primitive so that it overlaps another in 3D space. With the carving object selected, click the Tools > Carve menu item to perform the operation. Remove the carving object to see the hole it made.

Hollow

To use the hollow tool, select the object you want to make hollow, then click the Tools > Hollow menu item. The grid size in the active viewport will be used for the hollow thickness.
