PalmliX Posted yesterday at 02:54 AM Posted yesterday at 02:54 AM Apologies if this information was findable somewhere... was curious if the engine supports any vertex animation formats? I suppose the answer is no given the current model formats I see supported? I guess the preferred vertex anim format would be alembic. Of course I suppose a vertex animation could be converted to bone based using "dem bones" or similar tool, which brings me to my next question of what is the limit on bone influence per vertex, if there is one? In a similar vein are blend shapes/shape keys etc. supported? Thanks! Quote
Solution Josh Posted yesterday at 02:58 AM Solution Posted yesterday at 02:58 AM Currently, vertex morphs (blend shapes) are not supported. The engine supported skeletal animation, with up to four bones influencing a single vertex, and a total of 256 bones per mesh. glTF or FBX format are both ways to import animated models. 1 Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
