Problem with loading the FPS Template

I'm new to this engine, I was going through some of the yt tutorials and everything was going pretty smooth for a while, but - for unknown reason to me - the FPS template doesn't load anymore.  Everytime I try to load it, I only see these 'Failed to load' messages and nothing happens

Interestingly, it was working initially. I loaded it few times before, and it just randomly stopped working yesterday. 
I already tried verifying the integrity of files on steam, and also tried to uninstall it and reinstall it and it still doesn't work
I would much appreciate any ideas that would help me to solve it.

Ok, I figured it out, I guess it was my fault;

Ok, so initially I did it this way: 
I opened the project manager, and clicked the 'import' button, then went into the Templates/Games folder in the engine's main directory, from there I choose the First-Person Shooter folder and click 'select folder' 
New project is created, but when trying to actually load it I was getting that problem I described 

So now I do it like this:
I create new empty project, and then I copy over all files from First-Person Shooter example to my new project folder. That way it works without problems. 
For the record, I have my steam folder on a different partition than my OS partition, and my Leadwerks Projects folder where I save all my projects is located on yet another partition.  I know it might be not a recommended way to do things, it's just the way how I keep things relatively clean and uncluttered on my pc
