I am trying to add GUI scaling in X11 windows on Linux. I've successfully queried the default font name:

-Misc-Fixed-Medium-R-SemiCondensed--13-120-75-75-C-60-ISO8859-1

Fonts in Linux are stored in "usr/shared/fonts". I found a folder at "usr/shared/fonts/X11/misc" that looks like it holds the default font Ubuntu uses. However, the file names are like "7x14-ISO8859-4.pcf.gz" and don't really look like the default font name above.

If my GUI is scaled to 200%, I want to reload the default font with a size that is twice the default. Any clue how I can do this?

Let's build cool stuff and have fun. :)
