Werner Posted May 22 Posted May 22 Hello I downloaded Ultra App Kit from Steam back in September 2024, I think it was. I am able to load into the Leadwerks pages and also my Steam account. However, when I try to open the Ultra App Kit, it will not accept my password. Any suggestions? Werner Quote
Josh Posted May 22 Posted May 22 Hi, the login system for Ultra App Kit has been disabled and logging into an account is no longer required. An internet connection must be available to run the project manager interface, but once the project is created there is no need to actually use the app. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
Werner Posted May 22 Author Posted May 22 From where do I run the project manager? I only get the logon screen when I try to open the kit. I also tried to download the Leadwerks client and log in there, but after login I only get the message 'Subscription Plan: Inactive' Quote
Josh Posted May 22 Posted May 22 I recommend using the Steam version. Are you connected to the Internet? It should just launch straight into this screen: Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
Werner Posted May 22 Author Posted May 22 The desktop shortcut has the following content: [{000214A0-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}] Prop3=19,0 [InternetShortcut] IDList= IconIndex=0 URL=steam://rungameid/1512210 IconFile=C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam\games\f81e5c88fc1b38cdf50d837b9f148301d22f951e.ico Quote
Josh Posted May 22 Posted May 22 I just tried it on a newly reformatted laptop and had no problems. As long as the application is not blocked from internet access, it should work. Anyone else have any problems with this? Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
Werner Posted May 22 Author Posted May 22 Removed it from my library in Steam and tried to install it again. Steam says ' Ultra App Kit is already in your Steam Library. And when I try to open it, it still requires a logon . When I enter my credentials, I get 'Authentication failed'. Quote
Josh Posted May 22 Posted May 22 Sorry, I do not know what the issue is. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.

Werner Posted May 25 Author Posted May 25 I opened your project in Visual Studio 2022 and it opened and compiled without any problems. So, thank you very much. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- However, when I tried to open a new clean c++ project and added the header file "Ultraengine.h" and made an include refererence in the main cpp file, i got a couple of error messages: E1696 - cannot open source file "UltraEngine.h" and C1083 - Cannot open include file: 'UltraEngine.h: No such file or directory Are there further references I need to add? Or other things I need to add? Quote
Josh Posted May 25 Posted May 25 3 minutes ago, Werner said: added the header file "Ultraengine.h" What does "adding the header file" mean? That could describe many different actions in Visual Studio. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
