I'm having a problem figuring out how to force surfaces to not share texture sequences.

Example:
I'm loading 3 quads, creating a NEW material for each quad. I am then playing the same texture sequencing on the quad but at different intervals for each.
However, each quad is sharing the same sequence with each other regardless that I have created separate Materials for each.  I have also tried Copy() and Instantiate() with the same results.

My question is  - how can I have 3 quads/planes not share the same materials.
