Sorry, but I find it quite horrible that they use LE as a cover picture, but do not even mention LE on the cover, only Dark products, probably hoping to make people think this was realized in one of their products.

They specifically point out the source of the cover shot in the article. Also, the cover was added at the very last minute. I just was talking to Rick a few days ago, and he asked if I wanted to include an article on our engine. So I think the newsletter was already written by the time I contacted Steve Vink.

Both Wired and Game Informer have switched to soy ink to help save the planet, but the cover art is going down in value. I love the images TGC uses for their newsletters. Real screen shots get my attention more than airbrushed anime. I love the trees. They look better than anything available back during our first visit to the GDC.
