I have a question that after an extensive word search in the forums, I have come up empty. Im wondering when a game is run, in steam it says you are in "SpaceWars" how can i change that name or can I?

You can't change it yourself. The game-name is bound to the appid in the steam_appid.txt.

If you are lucky enough and released a game on steam you will have your own appid.

Well, thats pretty unfortunate as I have NO intention of releasing anything to steam for any reason. I just hate that title of "space wars".

 

I have had several friends ask me what "space Wars" was as they couldnt find it on steam. .. . . . lol

 

Meh, what would you expect from steam anyhow. . . . Thanks for that info.
