tipforeveryone Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 I think Leadwerks code editor will be better if there is a Lua function list which contain all function bookmarks. Whenever a function created (the line has word "function") its line number will be bookmarked, a single click can bring user to the line of that function instead of pressing Ctrl + F then type the name of function. Something like this, I hope this can be implemented in 4.6 Quote
Josh Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Nice suggestion, but we're probably going to phase out the built-in code editor in favor of using VSCode as the official IDE. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
tipforeveryone Posted March 1, 2019 Author Posted March 1, 2019 Does that mean we will use VSCode for lua coding as the official IDE in 4.6 ? Because I want this feature for 4.6 too, not only Turbo Quote
Josh Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Nope, but it is not worth putting a lot of effort into implementing this when it isn't going to carry over into future versions. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
