paopow Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 So, I have to upgrade to get the 2.3 updates? Forgive me, but was there that much of an update that we have to pay for the 2.28 to get to 2.3? Quote
Scott Richmond Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 So, I have to upgrade to get the 2.3 updates? Forgive me, but was there that much of an update that we have to pay for the 2.28 to get to 2.3? It seems so. It looks like Josh only maintains one version of LE (2.3). You get LUA integration and the new WYSIWYG editor. For $50 it really is worth it. Marleys Ghost Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 .... have to pay for the 2.28 to get to 2.3? Not sure I follow 2.28 was an update to 2.27 ... or 2.2x ... and was not charged for. Scott Richmond Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 Who said that? What about the bugs in 2.28? *shrugs* I figured the updater only pulls items from one repository. Porsche Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 2.3 is an incredible upgrade. $50 is considerably low compared the features it introduced. The editor combines several different "workplaces" together, and allows for a much smoother development kit. Don't forget about vegetation - with 2.3 you have the ability to add limitless vegetation, no joke.
