TEPA6ANT Posted May 29, 2025 Posted May 29, 2025 The level editor lacks one handy detail, and that is to select several vertexes of the brushes and manipulate them with the mouse. I have previously made maps for Counter-Strike 1.6 and in the unofficial J.A.C.K. editor for GoldSource and idTech 1-3 engine games this is very easy to do: Video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/11O0YaByw9axulKGelEPELlcSeWUXpxNR/view?usp=sharing But I can't do the same in Ultra Engine: Video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SXc38WFq0hL31n4lb6oOznuKTc_5FYXa/view?usp=sharing And also there is no way to return as it was before the change (Ctrl+Z doesn't work in this case). It would be very convenient not only for me, but for everyone. If such manipulations with brushes will be convenient in the future. 1 Quote
Dreikblack Posted May 29, 2025 Posted May 29, 2025 You can draw brushes in Ultra as well. Just select brush/box create tool by clicking on combobox, draw it in viewport and confirm creation by right click Quote Check out Slipgate Tactics - turn based tactics Quake fan game, which is made with Ultra Engine/Leadwerks 5: https://www.leadwerks.com/community/topic/61480-slipgate-tactics-demo/

It's a bit uncomfortable for editing multiple brushes. 1 Quote
Josh Posted October 28, 2025 Posted October 28, 2025 Are you talking about the drag selection box? Quote Let's build cool stuff and have fun.

And yes, through the Selection box It would just be very convenient for creating complex geometries. Quote
Josh Posted October 28, 2025 Posted October 28, 2025 Ah yes, I see. If you click a vertex, it selects all the vertices at that point, but only for one brush. Drag selection doesn't work on vertices. Quote Let's build cool stuff and have fun.
