The level editor lacks one handy detail, and that is to select several vertexes of the brushes and manipulate them with the mouse.
I have previously made maps for Counter-Strike 1.6 and in the unofficial J.A.C.K. editor for GoldSource and idTech 1-3 engine games this is very easy to do:

But I can't do the same in Ultra Engine:

And also there is no way to return as it was before the change (Ctrl+Z doesn't work in this case).

It would be very convenient not only for me, but for everyone. If such manipulations with brushes will be convenient in the future.

You can draw brushes in Ultra as well. Just select brush/box create tool by clicking on combobox, draw it in viewport and confirm creation by right click

I know that. But I'm talking about the Edit Vertices tool. It's a bit uncomfortable for editing multiple brushes.

Are you talking about the drag selection box?

I'm talking about manipulating multiple vertices in multiple brushes. Well, that is, so that I can select several vertices from one or more brushes, and manipulate them through Edit Vertices.
And yes, through the Selection box

It would just be very convenient for creating complex geometries.

Ah yes, I see.

  • If you click a vertex, it selects all the vertices at that point, but only for one brush.
  • Drag selection doesn't work on vertices.

Let's build cool stuff and have fun. :)
