Not really. They stupidly based the whole thing on inverse bind matrices. I have spent weeks and weeks trying to make something that always works, and it always ends up breaking other animations.

Something that happens with Mixamo is that the rotation of the bones is not in orientation 0,0,0, I think that could be the drawback
