If I have time I will spend a week before release making another video tutorial series. If you have watched the crash course and lua scripting series, what is the next set of videos that would be most useful to you? I don't want suggestions for one video of the exact thing you are trying to do today, I mean a series of videos that sort of go together. What would help you most?

My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.

Something focused on video game development, how the industry works, game mechanics, something emotional for most of us, early stages of development, objectives, and future marketing, things like that, which I'm sure you have a lot of experience with as the creator of this beautiful engine.

Hey Josh! I absolutely loved your Lua scripting series; it was the one that actually made things click for me, so thank you for that.

For the next series, my big idea is this: you know how most tutorials walk you through building one specific game, like a top-down shooter? They're great, but the moment I want to make something different, I feel totally lost. I know the code, but I don't know how to apply it to my own ideas.

So, what if you made a series that's all about connecting the dots? Instead of one big project, you could take one concept per video and show how it's used in a few different, small ways across different genres.

For example, take Tables. You could show how they work for a classic RPG inventory, but then also how they can be used to manage enemy waves in an arcade shooter, or even define dialogue options in a story game. Just little snippets. Same for Functions – show a jump mechanic in a platformer, then a damage calculator in an RPG.

Basically, it wouldn't be about "how to build this one thing," but "how to use this tool to build anything." A series like that would be a total game-changer for people like me who are trying to go from following tutorials to actually creating something original.

maybe : tps view/camera, inventory system, how to work  on a 2d game, create/editing shaders and particles in LE5, how to add water (lake, water, sea, cascade) in our 3d map; how to manage animations, using the flowgraph...would be some great topics :)
