MexSource Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Hello, one simple question: do i need to buy a upgrade when 3.1 is out and i would buy 3.0? or only version 3 to version 4? or no need to buy again? //Edit: http://www.leadwerks.com/files/EULA.txt i read it and means: 'You may not create a 3D game or other application that is modifiable by script, programming, GUI interface or other [...]' that i am not allowed to create a level editor for my game? - Mex Quote C++ :3
Josh Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 You can create a level editor for your game. You cannot create an editor to make new games. 3.1 will be available for pre-order soon. Each major version release is a paid upgrade, on a roughly annual basis. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
gamecreator Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 3.1 will be available for pre-order soon. Interesting. What is the benefit to pre-ordering? Quote
Josh Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Interesting. What is the benefit to pre-ordering? People are in a spending mood right now. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
MexSource Posted December 9, 2013 Author Posted December 9, 2013 [...] on a roughly annual basis. You mean i will need to pay a little amount every year? Quote C++ :3
Josh Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 If you want the new features the next version brings. Licensing costs are not a subscription, so you can keep using any version of the software you own.
