what does show scenegraph do?

like the titel,i wonder what scenegraph does.that you can find in de Options-->display

I assume its using DebugSceneGraph.Which according to the wiki:

If mode is set to 1 scenegraph debugging will be enabled. A wireframe visualization of the scenegraph will be drawn.

This draws a frame around all groups

 

Now how you can make groups in the editor, I am not sure. The older sandbox let you do this inside the Scene list... perhaps you have to do it by lua code now?
