Hi All,

I've been in 3.0 land all this time and am wondering in 3.1 Material Editor->shader shadow field, do you have to add a shadow shader here? It looks like models are get shadows regardless?

Cheers!

This is only if you need a special vertex shader for the shadow, like in the case of animated models.

My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.

A bit of documentation on this would be helpful, I find this bit confusing as well. E.g., I have to assign a alphamask shadow shader to my trees so they correctly cast shadows, and I actually don't have a clue why.
