What is 'Leadwerks Editor'?

I notice that in the Artwork forum there is a Leadwerks Editor forum.

 

What is Leadwerks Editor - is it a 2.3 thing? I assumed it was the Sandbox, but I am not sure.

A new editor was written for version 2.3 called Leadwerks Editor.

I will be upgrading in a few days or so - before the expiry date.

 

I haven't even used the previous versions of LE - but you have to be 'in it, to win it'.

Mmm, but is there a Sandbox forum too or is it included in the Leadwerks Editor one too?

There isn't a separate Sandbox forum. Almost everyone on the forum is using version 2.3.

I've only just started to use Sandbox. I bought LE back in 2008, but Blitz3D keeps me on a tight leash so I have only just started using it.

2008? I don't know how you could hold out so long. First time I saw Le I knew there was no going back to blitz 3d even though at the time there was no Sandbox or tools.
