zipzup Posted May 30, 2025 Posted May 30, 2025 Hi Josh, I bought the Ultra Engine Pro on Steam today. I have a question about tessellation, in the editor the tessellation works very well and looks very good. But when I started my test game there was nothing to see of the tessellation, the textures were flat. What am I doing wrong, the tessellation should also be visible in the test game? Quote

zipzup Posted June 30, 2025 Author Posted June 30, 2025 Hallo Josh, wo genau gebe ich den Befehl „Camera:Set Tessellation(size)“ ein? In FPSPlayer.lua? Why isn't this feature included by default? Quote

Why isn't this feature included by default? It depends on how the camera was created, but if CreateCamera() is called, then this can be called some time after that, on the same camera. If you are using the FPS player component, you can add this in there. Quote Let's build cool stuff and have fun.
zipzup Posted July 1, 2025 Author Posted July 1, 2025 Hi Josh, when I add the command "Camera:Set Tessellation(2)" to FPSPlayer.lua and start the test game, I get several error messages. Could you integrate the tessellation function into FPSPlayer.lua? Quote

zipzup Posted July 1, 2025 Author Posted July 1, 2025 Thanks Josh for the tip. Is this the correct line where I need to add self.camera:SetTessellation(2), because I still don't see any tessellation in the test game? Quote
zipzup Posted July 1, 2025 Author Posted July 1, 2025 Now tessellation works, it was the wrong line. Quote
