greengobyte Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 How can I get the LE version 2, the licensee LE version 3? Quote
gamecreator Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 I'm not clear on what you're looking for but LE2 is no longer available for sale. Quote
greengobyte Posted October 24, 2013 Author Posted October 24, 2013 Hmm ... Even if it does not develop a version 2 ... Would add to the store, then as the first version =) Quote
Josh Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 If you download the Leadwerks Engine 2 installer, your Leadwerks 3 key will work with it: http://www.leadwerks.com/werkspace/files Quote Let's build cool stuff and have fun.
gamecreator Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Wait, if you buy LE3 you get LE2 for free? Quote
Josh Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 The keys that go out right now happen to work, because I just copied and pasted a bunch of unused keys. It's not really a selling point and might stop at any time. Quote Let's build cool stuff and have fun.

panz3r Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 I think one of the question is : would it be legal to use it and sell products made with it in those conditions? It can become a selling point too: leadwerks 2.0 for 30 bucks (if you have leadwerks 3), AS IS , no suport no upgrades. Everybody is happy. Quote

I don't have any problem with that, but trying to promote two versions of a product would be a severe lack of focus. Quote Let's build cool stuff and have fun.
panz3r Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 There are a lot of programers there that don;t feel very confortable with OOP (i am one of them). Quote
Josh Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 OOP, if done right, is just the difference between this: SetEntityPosition(entity,1,2,3) And this: entity:SetPosition(1,2,3) 1 Quote Let's build cool stuff and have fun.
