Hello,

first to say i had the same problem with the indie edition too.

i get nothing when starting over steam and i get a error (0xc000007b) when starting manually

in the internet i read it has something to do with wrong dll's (32-bit and 64-bit) but i don't know where to start, and which dll's this could be.

Thanks for any help ;)

The application log is stored in C:\Users\AppData\Local\Leadwerks\Leadwerks.log. This will have information about what happened.

It would also help to know your graphics hardware, and whether it is an Intel/Nvida or Intel/ATI combo system.

I had no error in the log, and i wanted a fresh log. So i deleted the log and tried to start with admin rights, normal, and over steam... It doesn't create a new log?

btw: when i start MyGame.exe in the console it says "Error: Failed to read file "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/Leadwerks Indie Edition/MyGame/Maps/start.map".". but i think that downsn't matter, it only means there is no start.map

//i found this thread:

http://www.leadwerks.com/werkspace/topic/8318-leadwerks-doesnt-start-anymore/

it seems the same problem as i have, and i don't have visual studio 2013 installed at the moment. Maybe that's the problem?

//i think i will now save all my data and reinstall windows

well you aren't the first person where an installation of Ubuntu has caused issues with the windows partition. Can you tell a little bit about your Ubuntu installation?

Like do you use a sepperate hard drive/ssd for ubuntu, sepparate partion on the samen harddrive/sdd, are you using tools like Wubi to make an installation in your windows stucture. etc

Any detail you can give might be a solution to solving common problems that others might have as well.

i installed Ubunut 12.04 on a second (ext4) partition on the same hdd as windows (with it's ntfs partition) (i shrinked the windows partition to create a new one with the ubuntu installer). And i don't used any other tools than what was in the image (the installer).

I want to help solve your problem, but your writing is very jumbled. Can you tell me what graphics card you have, and whether this is a laptop that combines Intel integrated graphics with an Nvidia or ATI card?

Yeah my english isn't perfect.

To the problem:

my graphics card is: ATI Radeon HD 5500 Series

and it's not a laptop and i don't have a graphic card combo or so

My windows installation was a little bit corrupted due to installing some other OS's. It don't have to be a problem with the software itself, many programs were no longer functioning since installing ubuntu
