win7: le 3.1 not launching

After working fine for most of last night le 3.1 will not run. I get a splash screen then the exeption message.

Graphics card is ok.

Try saving ypur project and map.

Or try to switch to another project and retry your project that is problematic.

If not working save your work and Re install LE3.1 perhaps.

 

I asked better LE3 logs .... this is missing, not normal to have such brutal exception

 

You could you post your project or map file later if nothing works.

I created a new project and then ported my old le 3.0 file folders ( materialss and models) into new project folder on top of default folders.

My models had no textues on them. After a lt of messing around the asset panel went blank and my models invisble. Just a black panel.

 

I am reinstalling.

Working now after clean install. Almost scared to do anything in case I make another balls up.

Would have been better to find the problem instead of re install , has it could appear again.

It would help LE3 be more stable, re installing LE3 or Windows it not a solution.

There was nothing to go on. Just a windows violation message.

Don't tell me it's LE3 editor no more working ?

This came from map or project that got corrupted.

Yes you are probably rigt. I am making a fresh start re importing everything from scratch.

I can;t make this a bug report as I have no facts to report.
