MarkusR Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 today i made a test because i want the navmesh see the doors. can we get a input field player radius, that is used for the space around the obstacles? in the screenshot the left door is 88cm, then come 1 meter and then 1,5 meter Quote PC : Win 10 Pro 64 Bit , 4x cores ~2 GHz , 8 GB RAM , AMD R7 265 2D : Photoline , Zooner Photo Studio 13 , Art Rage Studio 3.5.4 , Ashampoo Snap 7 , ... 3D : Shade 15 Basic , Carrara 8.5 & DAZ Studio 4.8 , Cheetah 3D 6.3.2 , Via Cad 8 Music : Samplitude Music Studio , Music Creator 7 IDE : Leadwerks Engine 3.x , Unity 5.x , (Unreal 4.8.x) , AGK v2.x , Construct 2 , (Clickteam Fusion 2.5) , ShiVa 1.9 , Game Maker Studio , MS Visual Studio .Net , Android Studio , Monkey , ...
Josh Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 It looks like the space isn't big enough. The player radius is a fixed size. Quote Let's build cool stuff and have fun.
MarkusR Posted January 9, 2015 Author Posted January 9, 2015 yes, but i do not want a 1,5 meter door, i want modell 1:1 scale. the player can go through the left door, but the ai will not without navmesh. i mean the space from wall to navmesh at obstacle, this i want input myself. i guess u use it as parameter anywhere or not? what minimum width i need for a door? edit: removed screenshot using "Mapping standards" Quote PC : Win 10 Pro 64 Bit , 4x cores ~2 GHz , 8 GB RAM , AMD R7 265 2D : Photoline , Zooner Photo Studio 13 , Art Rage Studio 3.5.4 , Ashampoo Snap 7 , ... 3D : Shade 15 Basic , Carrara 8.5 & DAZ Studio 4.8 , Cheetah 3D 6.3.2 , Via Cad 8 Music : Samplitude Music Studio , Music Creator 7 IDE : Leadwerks Engine 3.x , Unity 5.x , (Unreal 4.8.x) , AGK v2.x , Construct 2 , (Clickteam Fusion 2.5) , ShiVa 1.9 , Game Maker Studio , MS Visual Studio .Net , Android Studio , Monkey , ...

gamecreator Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 You can also fake it. You can set it so the navmesh ignores models so you can have a model for the visual aspect and a second one for the navmesh, which you can hide. But this may be a pain. Quote
MarkusR Posted January 10, 2015 Author Posted January 10, 2015 @gamecreator thanks for info, yes house modelling is a pain... but i think the door is my last barrier.
