How do we get LeadWerks 5 ?

it says for alpha subscribers. what is that ? how do i get that ?

Store link at the top.  You can pay for a monthly subscription and watch Leadwerks 5 develop.  I believe it's in very early stages right now though so you can't make a game with it yet.

Why do people pledge for kickstarter games when they are not playable?

Because they want to support the development process and perhaps get insider knowledge that you otherwise don't get to know.

oh what about the current LeadWerks we have installed ? will it get replaced and wreck all our projects or is it installed into a different place ?

If we start making a project in LeadWerks 5 will we be able to continue it and build a windows standalone exe with it when LeadWerks is released ?

Probably. There is presently only a static lib and C++ project. There is no editor.

There is no installer. It’s just a zip file. ?

What do you mean by Probably ?

If there is no editor then how am I suppose to use it to start making a game with it ?

Did you mean probably as in using the C++ project and building from there ?

or is there another way ?

It’s just a vs project so I don’t see where any problem would be. And the current build can’t load map files.
