Laptop to develop Leadwerks.

Hey guys,

 

Recently I'm thinking of buying a new laptop since I travel a lot.

I'm thinking of buying a 15-inch Macbook Pro and using bootcamp on it,

but I don't know much about computer hardware.

 

What kind of system configuration would allow Leadwerks to run smoothly?

 

I've an Alienware M15X which I can do all the system intense graphics stuff - I'm only planning to write code & test on the new machine.

I use Asus G series laptops, I find them better specced and cheaper than Dell Alienware.

ASUS has some good ones.

 

Of course the Mac can do iOS stuff, and Android development is a bit easier on them.

It's even easier on Linux, because it has GNU C++ built-in.

I'd go with the Macbook Pro. I have a Macbook Air with Win7 via Bootcamp and it's just great - even performance wise. Ok, only HD3000 graphics but that should be more than enough with LE3.
