Andy Gilbert Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 When i drag and drop an object onto another in the editor object list it creates a branch and drops it in, then when i select its parent and move it, they both move. Meaning its parented to that object? But if i tell the parent to move using a script, the child does not? Is this correct? josk Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 No, the child should move as well. I attached a camera to a model and it works, or it could be a model to camera! Quote Elite Cobra Squad
Andy Gilbert Posted July 10, 2013 Author Posted July 10, 2013 Try doing it not with a camera but two objects. See if that works. Thanks Andy Quote The good news about computers is that they do what you tell them to do. The bad news is that they do what you tell them to do. josk Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Your right, no movement with two objects. Quote Elite Cobra Squad

YouGroove Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Your right, no movement with two objects. So it's a bug ? As i would need this functionnality with two ojects : moving the parent object would automatically move/rotate the child. Quote Stop toying and make games
