Canardia Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 The forum chat seems to have a limit of max 5 users, Josh needs to fix that. Quote ■ Ryzen 9 ■ RX 6800M ■ 16GB ■ XF8 ■ Windows 11 ■ ■ Ultra ■ LE 2.5 ■ 3DWS 5.6 ■ Reaper ■ C/C++ ■ C# ■ Fortran 2008 ■ Story ■ ■ Homepage: https://canardia.com ■
Josh Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 I think it's a limitation of the free version, since it is using IPS's bandwidth. I think the chat is still in beta. If it turns out to be useful, then maybe I will pay to have the user limit increased when it is out of beta. Laurens Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 What do you mean by "on every topic". Why would you want a chat box on every thread (doubtful if it is even possible)? What use is a forum then if the solutions to problems are not retained Quote
Pixel Perfect Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 Good point Laurens, that appears to be one of the drawbacks to using the chatroom. If people simply use it to get solutions to their problems no-one else gets to benefit from those solutions apart from those in the room at the time.
