No permissions to edit profile?

Why is it that non "developers" cannot edit our profile?

 

I realize it will properly change once I get my kickstarter reward and the account gets upgraded, it just seems a tad silly.

Spammers like to put back links in their profiles, and it hurts this site's rankings.

As I remember, this forum engine is enough flexible to disable some functions with possibility of avatar change still. I think jpg's and png can't carry links still. And here some anti spam additional modules for ip.board, also some tricks, like a spam catchin'g fake topics with description for real users.

Stupid question, where can I change my avatar ? I checked my profile, any looks like I can't

For me it's under My Profile, Edit my Profile button on the top right, Change my photo... button

I think this is because your account is a "Developer" account, I purchased Leadwerks through Steam and the change my photo doesn't appear to be there.

I'll confirm this, Steam registered and member title is "Advanced Member" Looks like the only thing I can't do is the photo, not a biggie for me tbh.
