  1. Hey @yurembo, thanks for playing the game! The graphic style is pretty niche, so I understand it won’t be for everyone. Thanks for the feedback, and for saying hello to the old lady :}

    Penultimate Pyre

    Thank you for playing Mollenkoffee! I tried really hard to create a retro-style atmosphere with concise sound design, and I’m glad you liked it. Regarding the character controller, I made a few small tweaks to the default FPSPlayer, and I feel it worked well for the kind of game I was trying to create.

    Thank you for playing the game, mdgunn. Have you tried to come back from the tunnel you came from, and use the hatch door at the start of the tunnel? I'll playtest again just to be sure, I hope it's not a game breaking bug.
  5. View File Penultimate Pyre A short story with light horror elements about warmth, an abandoned village, and a signal trying to reach you. You arrive in a frozen wasteland. There is a menacing antenna on the horizon, and cabins covered in ash, long forgotten. The fire is your only real company, and its flames are hypnotizing. There is no combat or enemies chasing you, yet there is a strange feeling that you are always being watched. In this remote winter settlement, it is not the cold you should be careful of. Content Warning This game contains psychological horror, unsettling themes, audio designed to create discomfort, and flashing or flickering visuals. About this entry The game uses a retro PS1 and old PC game style. It’s not meant to be 100% accurate, but this is the look I wanted for this project. This is my entry for the Leadwerks Winter Games 2025. I like winter, and I tried to follow that theme while also testing some of the new features in the engine. I used the terrain system, the new post-effect stack, and the Reduce Mesh feature in Leadwerks 5. The Reduce Mesh tool helped a lot with the low-poly PS1 style. Sometimes there isn’t a low-poly version of a model, so this tool makes it easier to match the game’s look. Version 1.0.0

    4 downloads

    Log Riders is my entry for Leadwerks Summer Games Tournament 2016 Objective - Finish the stage without falling in the water There are 3 stages and a secret one. Tips: Beware, if you stay too much in the log you will fall and the log will lose momentum The logs use physics, so they will react to where you jump. WASD - Movement Space - Jump For feedback please post here or on werkspace. This is only a prototype, I had so much fun doing this and I hope you have fun playing too =] I will polish and put more stages in the future if you guys want!

    I have tried to do what you said, but unfortunately I'm still getting the same artifacts at the bottom
  10. Cartoon style. Yue explained well.
