Thanks... Don't think I've run across that site before. I'm a programmer, trying to learn how to do some modelling. But, even if you do learn to model, texturing is the next challenge. Much happier with Blender now that they've change from their older UI and rearranged things.

The davantage of devian art site , is that you don't have to register to download compared to the one you posted.

 

I tested one pack, textures with normal and specular maps, but they look more like simple diffuse texture with lightmap shader. Dynamic shader and lights would make effect lot more visible live indeed.

And yes, they are goo quality enought.
