sadsack Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Hello, The people that paid our hard worked for money on 3DWS is just out of luck when it come to help. I just love this buy it and then forgtten world of game making. Well what I would like to know is there a way to put a X.model in 3DWS and have the model run its anim. Like a wind mill where the blades turn all the time. Thank you P.S. I there a forum for 3DWS any place? Quote
cassius Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 You may be able to load your model into ultimate unwrap and then save it in half life format and then load it into 3dws, but animations? I don't think so. Quote amd quad core 4 ghz / geforce 660 ti 2gb / win 10 Blender,gimp,silo2,ac3d,,audacity,Hexagon / using c++
macklebee Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 No animations in 3dws since its intent was for scene design not character, but you can load X models into it by just placing the file into the Models directory and the textures in the Materials folder within their own respective folders. Josh Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 3D World Studio had a good run, but Leadwerks 3 is replacing it. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
